Alumni Diplomas & Graduation Verification

If you have not picked up your diploma, you can schedule an appointment:

When picking up the diploma you must have:

  • A valid government issued picture ID (driver's license, passport, state ID, etc.)

  • If you schedule an appointment for someone else to pick it up

    • provide them with a written and signed note.

      • State the name of the person you are giving permission to

      • Sign the note (original signatures only, electronic signatures will not be accepted)

      • No emails, No texts, No phone calls.  Requests must be in WRITING.  Will need to keep the notes for documentation.

    • The person picking up the diploma must provide their government issued picture ID (driver's license, passport, state ID, etc.)​

The Department does not provide duplicates nor copies of diplomas.  Once the original diploma is awarded, individuals can request a copy of the high school transcript that reflects the graduation date and the diploma number as verification of high school graduation.

If you have picked up your diploma, you will need to request a transcript as proof of graduation.

The transcript includes:

  • Date of Graduation

  • Diploma Number

  • Type of Diploma (High School Diploma, Certificate of Completion, etc.)

Current Seniors - Class of 2024

Final Year-End Transcripts for Seniors

SENIORS requiring a final transcript to the college/university of choice

must submit a transcript request form with the mailing address to the

Registrar’s Office (A202). 

 

You can also request transcripts and make

payments via Parchment (additional fees may apply). 

Click on the ORDER Records button and follow the instructions.

If ordering transcripts via Parchment, you must

include the Consent for Release of Information

as an attachment.

​

If requests are made by May 30, 2024, these transcripts will be mailed/emailed

or can be picked-up on June 17, 2024 (Diploma Pick-up). Please allow up to 5 days for

processing transcripts.

We prefer that all transcripts be mailed or sent via Parchment.

Diploma Pick-up (Class of 2024)

June 17, 2024                     9:00 AM - 1:00 PM                      In front of GRAC

You must pick up your own diploma and all diplomas must be signed for. You MUST have your picture ID with you (School ID / Driver’s License / State ID / Passport).

 

If you cannot make it, you can:

  • Have someone else pick it up for you:

    • Provide a WRITTEN and SIGNED note.

      • State the name of the person you are giving permission to.

    • The person picking up the diploma must provide their Picture ID (School ID / Driver’s License / State ID / Passport).

 

 

  • Have the diploma mailed home to you via Certified Mail

    • Bring $10 cash to the Registrar’s Office (A202) by 3PM on Friday, June 7, 2024.

    • Complete a form providing the Mailing Address

    • We will include: Diploma, Honors Recognition Certificates, Health Card, Final Report Card, and Diploma Cover (if the graduate did not participate in Commencement)

    • Other items, if any, will need to be picked up in person by appointment beginning July 15, 2024. We will discard unclaimed items in December 2024.
