GENERAL

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

Wendy’s High School Heisman 2008 application is now available.  Eligibiility is limited exclusively to men and women entering their senior year of high school in the 2008-2009 academic year who have at least a “B” grade average and participate in at least one of the 32 sports officially sanctioned by the National Federation of State High Schools.  Online applications are available at www.wendysheisman.com.  Applications are due by October 1st.  Come to GRAC for more information. - T. COLLEGE PRESENTATIONS

UNIVERSITY OF DENVER, COLORADO -  A private 4 yr. university located  8 mi. from downtown. Will be doing a presentation on Monday, September 15, at 8:30a.m. in GRAC (port.12).

WILLAMETTE UNIVERSITY  -  Is a private 4 yr. university and liberal arts college, located 45 mi. from Portland. A representative will be doing a presentation in GRAC (port. 12) on Thursday, September 18, at 8:30 a.m.  If interested in any of these presentations, come to GRAC for a pass. - N. Okinaka

PAAC AFTERSCHOOL GLOBAL STUDIES CLASS

All those who signed up to join the Global Studies Class please meet in C-201 on Tuesday at 2:30. It is very important that you attend this first class so plans can be made for the rest of the semester. There is still space available for anyone else interested, so please come in. mahalo - L. PAAC CLUB

All those interested in joing the Pacific Asian Affairs Council CLUB, please meet in C-201, morning recess on Tuesday, 8/26. This would be great for anyone interested in Global Issues and Statewide competitions as well as eligibility for a trip to Thailand! mahalo - L. Kamalani
