SENIORS

2009 YEARBOOKS

If you are interested in ordering a 2009 yearbook, please come by D-201 during lunch recess from April 20-24, 2009. This is your LAST chance to order a book. All remaining books will be sold after yearbooks have been distributed to all students in 9th-12th grade that ordered books. As a reminder, the yearbook is $50.00 and you can pay with cash or a check written for $50.00 to WHS. - K. Castillo

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

HAWAII ISLAND LANDSCAPE ASSOCIATION - Applicant must plan to enroll in a program in horticulture, landscaping or agriculture. Must show finacial need. Amt. - $500.00. Deadline: April 30, 2009.

HO'OULU 2009 HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL NATIVE AMERICAN SUMMER PROGRAM

Any high school student who is a Native Hawaiian resident, will complete their sophomore or junior yr. of ed. by the end of Spring 2009. GPA - 3.0 or higher. Available to participate in the program fr. June 21 - July 18, 2009. Students selected to attend this program will receive full scholarship. Encludes: tuition, books, round trip to and fr. Boston, meals, housing. Deadline: May 9th, 2009. For more infor. to any of these sacholarships, come to GRAC. - N. Okinaka

The final SGA Congress meeting date has been changed to Tuesday, May 12 to accommodate the AP test takers. The time will be announced later. - D. Tanabe

ARCHFILE

Viewpoints 2008 - 2009,program #7 via DOE channel 56. Viewpoints program #7, "The DOE: Dealing with the economy," will provide an update of how reductions and restrictions are affecting the department's budget plan. The half-hour viewpoints program will air on Thursday and Fridays at 5:30 p.m., Tuesdays, 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on DOE cable channel 56 from April 16 to May 5. - M. Respicio
