SENIOR PHONEBOOK DRIVE

To all Seniors-

Please support your class and donate your phonebooks to the Senior Phonebook Drive! Starting on April 6th, 2009, please drop off your phonebooks at Mr. Mau's room E-102 every Monday and Wednesday before school and during morning recess. Those who donate 10 phonebooks will receive 1 point towards a commencement ticket. - K. Sato

YOKOSO JAPAN TRIP

Arigato! So many have responded to our first-class trip to Japan! Yes, you can still join your friends and spend Spring 2010 in Tokyo, Hakone, and Kyoto! Learn from actual scholars in the field, and take a cooking lesson in Tokyo. Enjoy your stay in beautiful 3 and 4 star hotels. We have set our limit at 30 participants, so we still have seats left! SENIOR PROM

The 2009 Senior Prom Simply Forever will be held this Friday, April 10th at the UH-Hilo Sodexho Dining Room. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Prom goers and their guests need to bring photo ID, prom bids and their picture packets. Attire for the evening is formal which means NO ATHLETIC SHOES (i.e., Vans, Converse, etc.). Questions? See Cindy N. or Mrs. Sakai-Kawada. - T. Kawada

LIBRARY BOOK SALE AND READING PROMOTION

Used books and magazines for sale at your library. Cheap...except for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. Also, gift books from the Richard Kohler collection are $1.00 each. Please browse and buy!

"Put your Face/Name in Lights" is the National Library Week reading promotion this year. From now until May 6, read, then recommend your favorite book(s) for others to read. Tell why you liked the book. Submit a photo of yourself and we'll post your picture and your book recommendations in the library. See how many faces we can highlight! SGA CONGRESS:

FACULTY & STAFF

MAY DAY STAFF HULA:

recruiting male & female dancers from among our talented staff. Hula number will be sung in English. It would be delightful if we could have

one or more persons representing the teachers, classified (clerical, EAs, security), custodial, or cafeteria staff - the more the merrier! Practice
