TRIP TO FRANCE

SENIORS WITH COLLEGE MID-YEAR REPORTS

Seniors that are applying to schools that require a Mid-Year report (with updated 1st semester transcripts) are responsible to see Mrs. Tagawa asap.  You must give Mrs. Tagawa the Mid-Year form, updated transcripts and a stamped addressed envelope.  Any questions, please see Mrs. Tagawa. - H. JOURNEY THROUGH THE UNIVERSE

This year's Journey Through the Universe Week will be February 9-13.  There will be activities for children and adults at Borders on Monday, Feb 9 from 5 PM - 7 PM (no ticket required).  Also, a limited number of free tickets are available for Family Science Day (Sunday, Feb 8  from 9 AM - 9 PM) and Family Science Night (Wednesday, Feb 11 from 4 PM - 8 PM).  Please see Mrs. Martin in E-201during non-class time if you are interested in tickets for these events. - L. FRIDAY SOUND CREW

Attention James Komatsu's Sound Crew: Please meet at E-Building at 11:00 Friday, January 30 to set up sound for the Cancer Awareness activities. - A. Roberts

PAAC AFTERSCHOOL GLOBAL STUDIES CLASS

All students that signed up for the Global Studies afterschool class (and those interested) should come to an important planning meeting on Tuesday, 2/3/09, during Lunch recess in C-201. Please come to be a part of the decisions made for meeting days/hours as well as expectations for 1/2 credit towards Social Studies requirements for graduation. - L. Kamalani

FRESHMAN AFTERSCHOOL CONCESSION

Meeting on Friday, Jan. 30 during lunch recess in D-203 for anyone interested in helping the afterschool concession committee.     - K. Uyeda

JAPANESE-AMERICAN FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY

We will have a meeting to debreif regarding our visitors from Japan and how we could improve activities with them if they return in two years.  Also if we want to try to go to Japan to visit them, when would be a good time of the year.?  Come with suggestions, ideas and any other thoughts.  We will start at  lunch recess on Feb. 4.  Please be prompt.   - L. FRESHMEN VARIETY SHOW

There will be a mandatory meeting today during lunch as well as after school in Mrs. Fujioka's room, R-201.  If you can't attend you must notify Mrs. Fujioka during the course of the day.  - R. Fujioka

2008 WAGE AND TAX STATEMENT, FORM W-2

Your 2008 W-2 will be available on Friday, January 30, 2009.   Please see me or Mrs. Abraham.  Employees who have worked in more than one position or have transferred from another state agency will receive only one statement which includes all earnings for the year.  Protect your statement from being lost or misplaced.  The cost for a duplicate is $10.00 and expect a two week wait or more for the replacement.  Payment by personal check will require more time to process because receipt of funds must be verified.  - J. Resource for Employee Assistance & Counseling Help (REACH) Program.  The REACH program provides confidential, Short-term professional counseling services to employees who may be experiencing personal problems affecting their job performance.  All State government employees (except student hires) of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches on all islands are eligible for REACH services. - M.
