SENIOR FALL SERVICE PROJECT

Hey Seniors!  Make sure to donate to the Santa's Workshop project.  Bring your gifts, wrapping paper, tissue paper or gift bags to one of the four following senior collection sites:  U102 (Mrs. Yamanaka), D203 (Mrs. Uyeda), P5 (Mrs. Tagawa), or to R101 (Registrar's office).  thank you! - R. SCHOOL SPIRIT STORE:

Need any gifts?  Too cold in the morning?  Come to the WHS School Spirit Store in E-103 to purchase jackets, sweatshirts, post-it notes, notepad w/ pen, manicure sets, etc.  Prices range from 50 cents to $47.   Shop now for best selection. - D. Tanabe

The Waiakea SFF Student Credit Union is NOW LOCATED in B-202! Stop by to open an account today, we are open during lunch.   Great news!  The ATM is NOW WORKING, withdrawals may be done in increments of $1, $5, $10, or $20.  Thank you for your support!  - S. Kojima

JUNIOR BALL BIDS

 Junior Ball will be on Saturday, February 2 at UHH Sodexho from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. This year's theme is "Masquerade Ball"

Junior Ball bids will be sold at E103 during lunch recess starting Tuesday, Dec 4 through Thursday, Dec 13.  Cost for WHS students is $30;  guests (under age 21) pay $37.  All cafeteria and library obligations must be cleared.  There will be a 25 cent refundable fee per application form. - M. BLOOD DRIVE:   

Our annual blood drive will take place on Thursday, January 24 in our library.  Permission forms are required for students who are 17 years old.  Forms may be picked up at U202 and must be returned by December 14th.  Please give the gift of life! - Y. Bright-Poai

WHS FLASH (JUMP) DRIVES:

USB 2.0 Flash Hard Drives (512 MB) with "Waiakea Warriors" imprint are available in E-103 for $20.  Great for gifts.   - D. Tanabe

STUDENT DOOR DECORATING CONTEST:

Form a team of four, ask a teacher if you could decorate his/her door, and submit the entry form to E-103 by Dec. 7.  Winter Week is right around the corner! - D. Tanabe

STUDENTS WHO TOOK THE NOVEMBER 3RD SAT AT HILO HIGH

If you took the SAT Reasoning Test at Hilo High on November 3rd, please see your counselor immediately for important information or if you have any questions about the December 15th re-take.  Thank you! - H. Tagawa

FRESHMAN ORIENTATION OHANA NIGHT:

If you have siblings or relatives who are coming up to high school next year, please invite them to the Freshman Orientation Ohana Night on Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 5 - 7 pm in the WHS cafeteria. Come & listen to a student panel, administrators, registrar, athletic director, counselors, Freshman House teachers, curriculum coordinator, and academies.   See Mrs. Nekoba or Mrs. Tanabe for more info. - D. Sign-ups for the WHS Canoe Paddling team will be held on Wed 12/5/07 during lunch recess in front of the gym. - T. Correa
