SENIOR CLASS SANTA'S WORKSHOP MEETING

Attention:  Senior class Fall Service committee members -  Please attend a meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 14th during morning recess in U102.   If you are unable to attend, please see Chelsey Takahashi or Mrs. Yamanaka - R. Yamanaka

ANYKINE CRAZY FUNKY OFF-THE-WALL PEFORMERS WANTED!

Why don't you peform in the Variety Show?  This is a great opportunity for you to participate in something fun.  We are looking for unique and thrilling acts,  so come to C204 to pick up application forms this week only.  You will be scheduled for auditions when you turn in completed forms.  Auditions will be held on December 8th.  Variety Show will be held on February 23, 2008.  - M. FRESHMAN ANNOUCEMENTS:

1.  Panda t-shirts are still on sale in E-103 for $11.00.  Youth lg., med., lg. and XL are available.  Support your class and buy a shirt.

   2.  Class council picture taking will take place on Thursday, Nov. 15 in the gym at 12:36 pm.  Be there by 12:30 p.m.  All Eng. reps. and chairpersons, please wear your class t-shirt or black and white to the photo session.

   3.  All freshmen who are interested in participating in the Winter Program, please sign up on the bulletin board in E-103.  Practices will begin after the Thanksgiving break.

   4.  The fall service project committee needs your assistance for Dec. 8.  Bring any new items for the Santa Store project.  We also need assistance with collecting, bagging and wrapping items.  Sign up in E-103.   - D. Tanabe

SGA CONGRESS PICTURE TAKING:

All social studies reps, SGA chairpersons, class & service club presidents, please report to the gym for yearbook picture taking on Thurs., Nov. 15 at 12:10 pm.  Please be prompt.  F.L.Y. shirts are available in E-103 for $4 for Leadership Camp attendees, $9 for others.  Buy yours today! - D. FALL SPORTS CHALLENGE:

Come to E-103 to sign up for the Fall Sports challenge.  Each sport needs a team of four to participate.   The Challenege will be held on Friday, Nov. 16 during lunch recess.  Wear your team shirt and support your team!  - D. Tanabe

SENIOR CLASS COUNCIL PICTURE TAKING

To all Senior officers, committee chairs, and English class reps.  Please meet at the gym at the start of lunch recess on Thursday, Nov. 15th.  We are scheduled to take our class council photo at 12:15 or sooner if the group before us is finishes earlier.  There will be no retakes so be there on time.  Wear your Viper t-shirt or class colors.  See you there!  - K. WAIAKEA SFF SCU CLOSED/DECA PICTURE TAKING

The Waiakea SFF Student Credit Union will be CLOSED on Friday due to DECA club picture taking.    DECA Students:  Don't forget our club picture taking on Friday, November 16th at 12:15 pm SHARP in the botanical garden.  Wear casual business or professional business attire.  - S. Kojima

TUG OF WAR CHAMPS

Mahalo to the Sophomore and Senior classes for participating in the 8th Annual "Dare to Drink Milk" Tug of War Competition, don't forget to pick up your FREE milk (w/coupon) this week after school in the DECA Warrior Store.   Congratulations to the C/O 2008, Seniors, winners of the perpetual COW TROPHY!  Drink milk and START LIVING HEALTHY! - S. COLLEGE & SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

SENIORS!  Please read all of your college/scholarship applications carefully and make sure that you are aware of 2 things:  the application deadline and what needs to be submitted with the application.  Don't wait till the last minute to send in your applications or ask people to write letters of recommendation for you.  Please see me if you have any questions about your applications! - H. LAST WEEK:  WINTER BALL BIDS ON SALE

Make sure to get your Winter Ball bids by this Friday!!  The 2007 Winter Ball will be held on Saturday, December 15, in the WHS Gymnasium.   Cost is $7.00 for WHS students and & $10.00 for guests (under 21 only!). Attire is Sunday Best; Collared shirts for guys and no jeans! Clear your obligations and bring your signed permission form, ID, and bid fees to E103 at LUNCH RECESS.  Don't wait.  Do it today!!!  - S. Naungayan

JAPANESE-AMERICAN FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY

There will be no meeting on Thursday Nov. 15.   Please remember to go to the botanical garden on Friday Nov. 16 by 12:36 p.m. for picture taking. in the yearbook.  If you would like to wear the old club shirt, you can borrow one on that day and return it after picture taking.  All club members please try to be present so that we can get a nice picture with as many members as possible.   All members who have a club t-shirt please wear it for picture taking.  Thank you.  - L.
