GENERAL

ATTENDANCE MAKEUP/SATURDAY SCHOOL

Weekday Attendance makeup will run from October 8 - November 21, daily EXCEPT FRIDAY in C 102.  There will be NO Weekday attendance makeup after November 21, for the last three weeks of the semester .  There are only 25 seats available daily, so do not wait until the last minute. There will be only three (3) Saturday School days this semester: Wednesday, December 5 from 2-6pm, Saturday, Dec 8, from 8am-noon, and Saturday, Dec 15  from 8am-noon in the cafeteria.  There will be NO Weekday Attendance make up or Saturday school the last week before the end of the semester (Dec 17-20). See an administrator, Come to C 101 or see Mrs. Kiyonaga in P-4 if you have any questions. - P. De Morales

VARIETY SHOW LEADERS NEEDED!

Calling all students! We are looking for organized individuals who are willing to chair a committee in this year's Variety Show. See Jade Yamada or Ms. Ellsworth in C-204 by Thursday, November 1st, 2007.  - M. Ellsworth

HOMECOMING WRAP UP:

Thank you to everyone for making Homecoming 2007,  Rev It Upa huge success.  Thanks to all the chairpersons and their class advisors for doing an awesome job.  Way to go, Warriors! - D. Tanabe

ASVAB TESTING

Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors ! There will be another ASVAB test coming up on November 8th, 2007 in the

WHS Library starting at 8:15am - 12:00pm. (Pds. 1, 2 &4) All those seniors that missed the 1st test in October, can sign up again

in GRAC (Port. 12). This ASVAB Test will be testing the JUNIORS with the last names  beginning from  A - K . The

remaining alpha's will be tested in January. For more information, come to GRAC. - N. Okinaka

FREE COLLEGE PLANNING WORKSHOP

First Hawaiian Bank's college planning workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 13 from 6:00-7:30 pm at WHS Cafeteria.  It is recommended for all students in grades 9-12 and their parents. - P. Yanagisawa

DECA "DARE TO DRINK MILK" TUG OF WAR COMPETITION

Homecoming competition is in the air, but can you handle one more?  Which class truly dominates this school?  Will it be the current champs, the class of 2008?  Or will it be the freshman, sophomores or juniors?  Well, sign up and find out at this year's DECA " Dare to Drink Milk" Tug of War Competition!!  Sign up with your head advisors by NOVEMBER 6, 2007. Thanks and let's keep the competition and stong bones going!!

DEBATE TEAMS FORMING

All those interested in debating interesting issues, including those who signed up and those who haven't, there will be an organizational meeting on Tuesday Oct. 30 during lunch to discuss possible topics and meeting times.  Again, interested debaters meet in Miss Ellsworth's room, that's Room C-204, Tuesday at lunch. - M. DECA STORE CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS

The DECA Store will be CLOSING on Wednesdays.  The store will be OPEN AFTER SCHOOL on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays ONLY.  Stop by and purchase delicious, ice cold strawberry, chocolate or 2% white milk, assorted juices and snacks!  Thank you for supporting the Business Academy! - S.
