SENIORS INTERESTED IN APPLYING SCRIPPS COLLEGE

Female seniors planning on applying to Scripps College in Claremont, California, please see Mrs. Tagawa in P5 for a scholarship opportunity by 9/27.  Scripps is a private women's college of only 875 students associated with The Claremont Colleges, consisting of Pomona, Claremont McKenna, Pitzer and Harvey Mudd.  Thank you! - H. SCHOOL PICTURE TAKING FOR UNDERCLASSMEN

Reed and Jay Photography will be here on Thursday, September 27, 2007 to take make-up school pictures between 8-10am in the WHS Gym lobby.  This will be your last chance to take photos for the yearbook.  If you need a picture form, or if you have any questions regarding school pictures, please see Mrs. Castillo in D-201.  - K. SENIOR MOB SHOT

Senior Mob Shot photo for yearbook will take place on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the beginning of lunch recess.  Photo will be taken on the hill next to the WHS Gym.  If it is raining on Friday, photo will be taken in the gym.   - K. Castillo

KU HA'AHEO AFTER-SCHOOL ATTENDANCE MAKE-UPS

Ku Ha'aheo will hold First Semester Attendance Make-ups  beginning October 8 and will run until November 21. Sessions are from 2:00pm-3:00pm everyday except for on Fridays. No make-ups will be held on Fridays. Sessions will be held in C102 and will be open to the first 25 students. Students must have a valid ID and all school rules apply.  - L. Kiyonaga

SAT TESTING REMINDER

Just a reminder !  The first SAT Test will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the WHS Cafeteria. Testing will begin promptly at 7:45am - 1:15pm. Don't forget your student ID, admission ticket, two sharpened #2 pencils, calculator. Any questions come to GRAC. - N. Okinaka

JV AND VARSITY SOFTBALL SIGN-UPS

All girls interested in playing JV or Varsity softball for WHS are to meet with coach Bo Saiki on Wed 9/26/07 in front of the gym during lunch recess. - T. Correa

VOLLEYBALL GAME TONIGHT:

Support the girl's volleyball teams as they challenge St. Joseph at the Cardinal gym tonight.  JV begins at 6 pm, varsity to follow. - D. Tanabe
