SENIOR MOB SHOT

The Senior Class Mob Shot for yearbook will take place on September 28, 2007 at 12:10pm.  Photo will be taken outside on the grassy hill next to the gym.  If it is rainy that day, photo will be taken in the school gym.  Please be prompt as photo will be taken at the beginning of lunch recess. - K. SENIOR HOMECOMING BANNER

Calling all Viper artists!  We need your help in coming up with a design for our senior homecoming banner.  The 2007 Homecoming theme is "Rev it Up!"  Designs must relate to the theme.  Submit a rough sketch of your idea to Mrs. Yamanaka (U102), Mrs. Uyeda (D203), or Kellie Miyazu by Thursday, Sept. 13th.  Remember to be creative and original! - R. COLLEGE PRESENTATION

ALBERTSON COLLEGE OF IDAHO  -  Is a private Liberal Arts college located in Caldwell city Idaho which is 30 min. northwest of Boise. Pre-professional courses offered - Pre- Dental, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine. A representative will be doing a presentation on Monday, Sept. 17th, 2007 in GRAC at 10:00am.

PACIFIC U -   A representative will be doing a presentation Friday, in GRAC on October 12, 2007 at 8:30am.  Pacific U is a small private 4 yr. university in Forest Grove, OR.

WILLAMETTE UNIVERSITY  - will be doing a presentation in GRAC on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 9:30am.

GONZAGA UNIVERSITY  -  will be doing a presentation in GRAC on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 8:30am.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA  -  A USC representative will be doing a presentation in GRAC on Friday, October 19th, 2007 at 9:30am.

LINFIELD COLLEGE  - representative will be doing a presentation in GRAC on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 9:15 am.

HAWAII PACIFIC UNIVERSITY  - will be doing a presentation in GRAC on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 8:30am.

If interested in any of these presentations, come to GRAC (port. 12) for a pass. - N. Okinaka

MATH LEAGUE

9th and 10th grade Math League Members, please come to R206 from now until next week Wednesday any time you have about 30 minutes to take practice/placement tests for possible team placements for the first Math League Meet taking place on Sept. 26.   All Chairpersons and committee members  and anyone else wishing to help with  Meet #1 please come to a meeting Monday Sept 17, R206 at lunch. - K. UH MANOA - THE MANOA EXPERIENCE

All boys and girls interested in playing basketball for WHS are to meet/sign up with coaches on  Monday Sept 17  during lunch recess in front of the WHS Gym.  - T. Correa

The Jaguars will be holding our first class council meeting today, Sept. 13 at 12:15 in P4.  All class council representatives and chairpersons for the year should attend. - P. Yanagisawa

STAT WORKERS NEEDED FOR WHS FOOTBALL TEAM

The WHS Football Team is looking for a few good workers to assist with Stats data collection and equipment management.  You must be available to attend practices and games both home and away.  Games are normally on Friday or Saturday nights from about 5:00 pm.  Reminder: We are NOT looking for those only interested in being affiliated with the team...you MUST be here to WORK!  Informational meeting on Monday, Sept. 17 during morning Recess in Q102.  If you are interested but unable to attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Mendes (Q102) or Jayrah Salvador. - K. Electronics Networking and Computer  Club

September 13, 2007

Did you ever want to know how your iPod works?  Well you can learn about that and more if you join the Electronics Networking and Computer club (ENC).  We plan to do various projects that involve computer programming, system networking, computer repair, and see the world.  If you are interested please attend a general meeting after school on Thursday September 13th at 3:00 in JEL.  If you have any questions please contact Dr. Marshall (ext. 279) in JEL or Kiennan Materne.
