TEEN PREGNANCY PREVENTION MONTH

Sex has consequences.  Did you know. . .whether the opportunity for education is lost or delayed, unplanned pregnancy often makes life harder for those trying to achieve the dream of a college education.  See Mrs. Yamanaka, U102 if you have questions. - R. Yamanaka

STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Applications to ride school bus for next school year will be distributed by bus drivers within the next two weeks.  It is important that returning bus riders complete the applications and submit to bus driver as soon as possible and by the end of May.  Upon return to school next year, your permanent bus pass will be ready, as long as the application  and if applicable, payment has been made to the school office.

SENIOR PROM MEMORY BOOKS

Reminder:  Everyone who purchased a photo package of senior prom pictures also receives a FREE memory book.  Please come and pick up your memory book from U102.   - R. Yamanaka

SATURDAY SCHOOL

If you are attending Saturday School on May 17, or 24, be sure to bring a picture ID.  NO I.D.- NO ENTRY NO MATTER WHO or WHAT. If you have lost your school ID or driver's license, you may BUY another I.D. at office.  Be there by 8am for the first session.  No Late entries will be allowed.  Remember, only two absences for a single class can be made up on each of the two Saturdays. - P. JUNIOR GRADUATION LEI MAKING

Juniors come to R202 on  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during lunch to create Graduation leis for our fundraiser.   - K. Irie

SR. CLASS T-SHIRT

Sr. Class shirts are in!  Anyone wanting to purchase a new shirt, see Mrs. Uyeda in D-203 during recesses or after school.  Cost is $8.00.  First come, first serve.  Once we run out there will be no reprinting.  Buy your shirt today! - K. Uyeda

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

ALOHA EXCHANGE CLUB -  On behalf of the Aloha Exchange Club - applications are now being accepted for the Youth of the Year Program.  The program recognizes outstanding Seniors. Amt. - $500.00. Essay required. Deadline: May 23, 2008.

HILO JAYCEES SCHOLARSHIP -  Recipients must be involved in at least one extracurricular or community based organization that provides volunteer based services to the communties of the Island of Hawaii. G.P.A. - 3.0 or above. FAFSA, Essay required. Amt. - $1,000.00.  Deadline: June 2, 2008. For more information/application, come to GRAC (port. 12 ). - N. Okinaka
