Well after eight straight years Kasey got up to bat and struck out.  Yup, after eight years of victory over Hilo High Gold team, the Waiakea Math League Blue team went down in defeat this past Wednesday at Honokaa High School.  And with this loss our overall record for the year was 2 and 3.  The Trophy is now in the hands of Hilo High which means we need to win it back next year.   One good note, Chihiro Sasaki was the repeat overall points champion again this year beating out somebody, forget their name, from Hilo High.  Thanks to all the hard working Math League students especially Chihiro Sasaki our Blue team captain and Ashley Nakagawa our White team captain. - K. Anderson
