Congratulations to the Juniors, who have now pulled away from the pack with 256 points toward the Reading Challenge.  The seniors, with only 30 points, the freshemen with 40 points and the sophomores with 58 points have a long way to go catch them.  It looks like Principal Koga will be a SHARK.....unless you have read books but forgotten to fill out a form or an online review.  There is still time.  Thank your teachers and staff for giving your favorite classes points.  And, you do not have to read a novel.  Biographies, sports manuals,  histories,  How-to books, cookbooks, gardening and craft books are all welcome.  Just read a book over 100 pages.

As for Aunty Pua's Reading challenge of a quarter million pages, we are now at 26% of our goal or 63,817 pages.  Right now, it looks like she's safe.  Come on, Warriors, READ! - G. Kobayashi
