GENERAL

KRISPY KREME FUNDRAISER

Want to start your Spring Break on a sweet note?  Buy a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts from various seniors who are selling tickets.  Pick up is on Friday, March 14th from 2:00 - 4:00 at the bus ramp or from 4:00 - 7:00 at KTA Puainako.  Hurry and reserve your dozen before supply runs out.  Cost is $10.00.  Thank you for your support.  Monies raised will help to offset Senior class expenses. - K. WRITING PLACEMENT EXAM AT UH HILO

Seniors who have been accepted and intend on enrolling at UH Hilo are strongly encouraged to register to take the Writing Placement Exam (WPE) on April 12th from 9 - 11 am in UCB rooms 114 and 115.  Registration is on-line at:  http://www.uhh.hawaii.edu/academics/wpe/reg_form.php.  The WPE must be taken and completed in order to satisfy the pre-requisite for enrollment in any 100 level English or 100 level ESL course at UH Hilo.  This exam is limited to 106 students who register on-line.  Thank you! - H. UH HOUSING APPLICATION

Seniors who have been accepted to UH Manoa and intend to enroll are reminded to complete their application for housing.  The completed application and fee are due to the Housing Office by May 1 (not postmarked).  Download the application from the UH Manoa Housing Website.  If you are still waiting on your admission decision, UH Manoa still encourages you to complete the housing application so that you will be able to have your housing application in by the deadline.  Any questions - contact UH Manoa Housing Office. - H. SUMMER SCHOOL

Students:  If you are interested in summer school, please stop by C102 ( Ha'aheo) to find out which classes will possibly offered this summer.  The classes are four hours a day from 8:00 - 12:00 starting on June 13.  The cost is $80.00 per half credit.  Deadline for priority applications is April 25th.    - K. MATH LEAGUE

There will be a practice session in R206 on the waiver day, Friday, March 7, from 8 am to 12 pm.  Please see Mr. Anderson if you are able to make the practice session.  Saturday's meet is at Kamehameha High School at 9 am - K. Anderson

ATTENTION FRESHMEN:

Those interested in helping out with Memorial Day lei making, please meet in E-103 today, after school.  If you are unable to attend, give your name to Noe Carlson or see Mrs. Tanabe.  Also, drop off your old telephone books to E-103 as soon as possible.  We are still looking for freshmen who are interested in participating in this year's May Day program.  See Janna Urakami for more details. - D. Come to the quad today to listen to the 2008-2009 incoming SGA, senior & sophomore class candidates.  The incoming juniors will have an election rally on Monday, 3/10, pd. 1, in the cafeteria.   - D. Tanabe

The Waiakea SFF Student Credit Union will be hiring student employees for the next school year.  If you are interested in a career in finance or just want job experience, this may be the position for you.   Do you demonstrate excellent work ethics?  Are you trustworthy and honest?  Are you dependable?  Do you demonstrate the General Learner Outcomes?  Submit a cover letter and resume to Mrs. Kojima (B-201) by April 11, 2008.  If you need assistance in writing a cover letter/resume, please see Mrs. Kojima ASAP. - S.
