AIR FORCE BAND:

Come one, come all, and listen to the sounds of the Air Force Band.  Showtime will be on Monday during lunch recess in the cafeteria  - D. Tanabe

SENIOR PROM

Seniors:  Court voting, table seating and picture appointments will be taking place from Feb. 25-29, 2008 in front of E102 during lunch recesses. - R. Yamanaka

MAY DAY ENTERTAINMENT

Anyone interested in performing for this year's May Day program, please come to an informational meeting on Friday, February 29 during morning recess in C102.  If you are unable to make it, please see Kawika in C102.   - K. Kaleohano

COUNTY OF HAWAII POLICE CADET PROGRAM

The Police Cadet Program are for those seniors who are interested in a law enforcement career, who may be in school or working full-time and want to transition slowly into law enforcement with the Hawaii Police Department.  Minimum qualification requirements:  graduation from high school/or equivalent (high school students who meet graduation requirements by Feb. 29th must have writtin documentation from their high school), must be qualified to carry firearms (no domestic violence convictions), be of good moral character, be physically fit and possess a valid driver's license.  Recruitment closes on Febuary 29th.  To apply, call the County of Hawaii job hotline at 961-8618 or visit www.co.hawaii.hi.us to download an application packet.   - H. AP EXAMS

If you are planning to take an AP exam in May, please go to GRAC (P12) to pay for the $84 exam fee (per exam).  If you qualify for a fee reduction, please see Mrs. Tagawa or Mrs. Lyman-Mandaloniz.  Payments will be collected until February 29th.  You can pay before school, at recess or afterschool.  If you are paying by check, please make the check payable to Waiakea High School.  Any questions, please see Mrs. Tagawa (P5) or Mrs. Lyman-Mandaloniz (P3).  Thank you! - H. Send your special girl, a pinwheel and lollipop for Girl's Day on Monday, March 3rd.  The pinwheel alone is 50 cents or with a lollipop it's $1.00.  Orders will be taken today thru Friday outside E-103.  Limited supply so order yours today! - D. Tanabe

FRIDAY SOUND CREW CALL
