SOPHOMORE CLASS SERVICE PROJECT

Attention all Sophomores!!!  For our fall service project we are collecting donations of assorted school supplies to donate to Waikoloa Elementary School.  Drop off donations with your social studies teacher now through Friday, November 3rd.  Practice being a Community Contributor & show your Shark Pride!!!  - T. HSA WRITING ASSESSMENT

SAT REGISTRATION

The deadline to register for the December 2nd SAT is November 1st, pick up a registration booklet in GRAC or register on-line at www.collegeboard.com - J. Richards

COLLEGE & CAREER  FAIR

Juniors & Seniors !  Hawaii's 32nd annual College & Career Fair will be held on Thursday, November 16th, at the Sangha Hall. Various universities, professional schools, technical, or industrial and trade schools & military services will be represented at this event. If interested come to GRAC  for  a permission form. Space is limited to the first 100 students !!  First come, first served !!  Bus fare is $2.25, exact change is appreciated. - N. Okinaka

ASVAB TEST RESULTS

 For those students who took the ASVAB test on the 19th of October, there will be an interpretation of your test results

in the Library on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 10:00a.m. You will receive your test scores at the interpretation. Any questions, come to GRAC.  - N. Okinaka

COLLEGE PRESENTATIONS  

UHCTA -  University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture will be doing a presentation on Wednesday, November 15, at 8:30 a.m. in the Library. Some of the majors they offer are : Bioengineering, Plant & Environmental Biotech, Food Science, Animal & Tropical Plant & Soil Sciences, Fashion Design just to name  a few.

Puget Sound -  A representative from Puget Sound will be in GRAC onWednesday, November 15 at 11:00 pm. Puget Sound is located in Tacoma, Washington.

University of Northern Colorado -  A representative from Northern Colorado will be doing a presentation in GRAC on Wednesday, November 29, at 11:15 a.m.  For passes to any of these presentations, come to GRAC. - N. Okinaka

SOPHOMORE CLASS FALL FUNDRAISING MEETING

Organizational meeting for students interested in planning the Sophomore Fall Fundraising Activity, Wednesday (11/01), morning recess in Mrs. King's Class, U303.  Sophomores, this is a great opportunity to get involved, help your class, and earn some Service points. - P. King

NHS INDUCTION CEREMONY

The 2006 NHS Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p in the cafeteria.  Senior members are required to bring refreshments.  Yearbook pictures will be taken for junior and senior members.  Please dress in "Sunday's Best". - J. Nekoba

SGA VARIETY SHOW MEETING

All class act chairpersons and SGA Variety Show chairpersons need to attend a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, November 1 at lunch in room C-204.  New details about the coming variety show will be discussed.  The class or classes with no representatives at the meeting will be at a great disadvantage in getting their choice of theme.  So be there or suffer the consequences! - M.
