WINTERBALL BID SALES

Come and get your Winterball bid at P-28!  The cost is only $5.00 for dues payers and $7.00 for guest.  A guest is a non WHS student.  At Winterball, don't forget to enjoy all the FREE and great food - Chicken Katsu, Korean style BBQ meat, sushi, spam musubi, pizza, vegetable platters, and more. THANKSGIVING WRITING CONTEST:

Entries are being accepted in E-103 for the "I'm Thankful for..." writing contest.  Typed or handwritten entries should be no more than 150 words.   Deadline is Thursday, Nov.20 by morning recess.   - D. Tanabe

SCBM MEETING

the next meeting will be on 11/18, 6:00pm-8:00pm, at GRAC, in the main admin bldg, 2nd floor.  topics are waiverdays and the high sch redesign program.  PUBLIC is invited to attend.   - M. Masaki

HARVEY MUDD COLLEGE

A representative from Harvey Mudd College will be in GRAC on Tuesday, November 18th at 8:45 a.m.  Harvey Mudd is a small, private 4 year engineering and liberal arts college located in Claremont, California.  Interested students should come to GRAC for a pass.   - T. Kawada

COLLEGE PLANNING & FINANCIAL AID NIGHT

First Hawaiian Bank is sponsoring a college planning and financial aid night on Tuesday, November 18th in the WHS Cafeteria.  The program is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be open to parents in the East Hawaii area.  Students who are planning to pursue a post-secondary education are encouraged to have their parents attend this workshop.   - T. CHRISTMAS PROGRAM GENERAL MEETING

Today, there will be a meeting of all Christmas Program committee members, class chairs, and individual acts during Lunch Recess in D204.  Turn in your Technical Requirements Sheets at the meeting.  This is a very important deadline. CHRISTMAS PROGRAM EMCEE AUDITIONS

This is a reminder that the Emcee Auditions for the Christmas Program begin on Morning Recess, Tuesday, 11/18, in D204.  Tryouts are conducted by prior arrangement with the committee.    - S. Naungayan

FAFSA-FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID

Forms for 2004-2005 are now available in GRAC.  Reminder that forms are not to be submitted until JANUARY 1, 2004.  A Financial Aid Night will be held on January 22, 2004 to help parents complete the FAFSA.   - T. Kawada

BOY'S BASKETBALL TRYOUTS
