JUNIORS & SENIORS

 

A representative from University of Puget Sound will be in GRAC on Tuesday, September 16 at 12:40 p.m.  University of Puget Sound is a small, private, 4 year university and liberal arts college in Tacoma, Washington.  Interested students should come to GRAC for a pass.   - T. Kawada

 

JUNIORS & SENIORS

 

A representative from Seattle University will be in GRAC on Friday, September 19 at 11:20 a.m.  Seattle University is a medium-sized, private, 4 year university affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church.  Interested students should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 & can come to GRAC for a pass.   - T. SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Horatio Alger Association for students who have demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity.  Applicants must have a 2.0 GPA and require financial assistance to attend college.  Apply at www.horatioalger.org.  Application deadline is October 15.    - T. Kawada

 

MAKE UP PICTURE TAKING/SENIOR MUG SHOT

 

Make up picture taking is scheduled for Friday, September 19 at lunch (11:55-12:15) in the gymnasium foyer.  Senior class mug shot will be taken exactly at 12:20 in the gymnasium.  Don't be late.   - P. King

 

CLASS OF 2007 MALE CHEERLEADERS

 

Tanyalee Switzer is having a meeting with the Freshman Male Cheerleaders in C202 on Tuesday, September 16, during morning recess. If the four who signed up are the only ones who show, we will have to forfeit participation in this year's Homecoming Male Cheerleading Competition. C'mon you guys, this is your last chance to show the Waiakea High School 'ohana what you're made of!! Mahalo!   - J. Martino

HOMECOMING T-SHIRT SALES:

 

will begin on Monday, Sept. 15 in front of E-103.  The shirt will be royal blue with white wording/drawing.  Cost is $7.00 for adult size, S-XL, $8.50 2XL, 3XL.  Youth sizes are available, S, M, L for $6.00.   - D. Tanabe

ASVAB

 

The first ASVAB test will be held on Thursday, October 23 in the library from 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon.  There in no cost involved.  Although the ASVAB is utilized by the different branches of the military it can also be useful in indentifying career interests and student strengths.  All interested students should sign up in GRAC.     - T.
