GENERAL

LOCKER REFUNDS:

Last day for locker refunds is this Thursday, June 3, both recesses outside of E-103.  No exceptions! - D. Tanabe

DRIVER'S ED MORNING CLASS:  

All students who requested the 7:15a Driver's Ed morning class next year should see Mrs. Nekoba in the Registrar's office as soon as possible. - J. Nekoba

SENIORS

Seniors will be dismissed from school and should leave campus immediately following song practice and ticket distribution on Friday, June 4.  Please park in student parking, NOT in the main or gym parking lots.  This parking is reserved for faculty and staff only.  Violators may have their cars towed. - J. Kruse

SENIORS

The second commencement ticket distribution will occur following Song Practice on Friday, June 4.  You will receive your final ticket at the rehersal on Saturday morning.  Mahalo. - J. Kruse

SENIORS

Some of you have not yet paid your obligations and/or class dues/fees.  If this is not taken care of prior to Friday, June 4th, you will not be allowed the privilege to "walk the line"...don't disappoint your family and friends who want to see you participate in this big event!  - J. Kruse

This weeks song practice schedule is as follows:  Wednesday, June 2 @ WHS gym 2-3 pm, Friday, June 4 @ WHS gym 8:20 - ???am, Saturday, June 5 @ Edith Kanaka'ole Stadium 8:45 am - ????  Be prompt for and ready for all rehersals.  Song lyrics should be memorized.  Mahalo. - J. Kruse

ALL FRESHMEN

Bring pictures for the Class Awards slide show.  Date has been extended to Wednesday, June 2.  Turn your pictures in to Michael Shioji or Tami Park. - K. Uyeda

LOCKER REFUNDS:

will be given from Tuesday, June 1st thru Thursday, June 3rd during both recesses outside E-103.  For faster service, please put your locker number & combination on a piece of masking tape & tape it to the lock.   - D. Tanabe

PROJECT GRAD FINAL DEADLINE

Absolute last day to turn-in Project Grad registration to Mrs. Sato is Wednesday, June 2 by 2:30 pm.  If you have already registered you should be receiving a confirmation/receipt before June 2nd.  Any questions???  See Mrs. Sato in Q-201. - K. Sato

ATHLETIC AWARDS PICK-UP

Students who did not attend the awards night may pick up their athletic awards from Mr. Yamase in the gym on the following days:  May 28, June 2, 3, 4, and 7th during school hours.  Unclaimed awards will be recycled for future use. - K. Yamase

LOST AND FOUND

Any lost and found item will be kept for 45 days then disposed.  If you have lost an item and want to check see me at GRAC.  Some of the lost items found are jackets, shoes, jewelry, books and clothing. - S. Ozaki

STUDENT PARKING ON CAMPUS

Student parking on campus is a privilege and not a right.  To park on campus you MUST follow several rules. The rules are as follows:

1. All vehicles MUST display a parking permit.

2. Park ONLY in marked stalls.  DO NOT PARK ALONG CURBING, STAFF and/or CONSTRUCTION PARKING!

3. NO EXHIBITIONS OF SPEED.     

4. Parking Lot is OFF LIMITS during the school day.  DO NOT use your vehicle as a locker.

5. Your vehicle can be searched anytime without probable cause.

If you do not follow any rule your permit may be revoked and your vehicle towed at the owner's expense.   - S. Ozaki

GRAC is offering FREE bookcovers while supplies last.  See Mrs Okinaka. - M. Masaki

ATTENDANCE

This is just a reminder that the deadline to excuse 3rd quarter absences was 3/19.  Any requests to excuse absences prior to Spring Break will not be accepted.  No exceptions will be made. - M. Yamashita

2004 ONE PUKA PUKA ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP

Open to graduating seniors recognized for academic excellence and community service & their pursuit of promoting the legacy of the 100th Infantry Battalion in World War II.  Applicants must be a descendent or direct family member of a 100th Infantry Battalion World War II veteran & a graduating senior who will be attending college on a full-time basis.  Application information available at http://home.hawaii.rr.com/club100.   Value:  $2,000.  Deadline:  Receipt by Saturday, June 5th. - T. 4TH QUARTER DEADLINE - ATTENDANCE

As a reminder, a doctor's note does not automatically excuse an absence from school.  Only Column B type absences will be excused.  Make it a practice to turn in requests to excuse COLUMN B absences promptly after your return.  Do not wait until the last week of school to turn in notes as it may be unexcusable (Column A).  Deadline to turn in notes for the 4th quarter is 6/3 for Seniors and 6/8 for all others.  See the Attendance Coordinator if you have any questions - M. MEETINGS

(2) HANDED SAILING

The UHH sailing team would like to meet with parents and students interested in learning about (2) Handed sailing to meeting at the Waiakea High library on Thursday, June 3rd at 6:30pm.  This will be a summer program conducted through the School of Continueing Education. - K. Yamase

SPANISH CLUB

Your permission slips for our year end social are due thursday June 3rd.  You will not be able to attend if you do not bring in your form to Q-104 - L. Fox
