ASVAB TEST RESULTS:

Students who took the ASVAB in April, please come to GRAC during morning and lunch recess to pick-up your ASVAB results. - T. Kawada

HAWAII COMMUNITY COLLEGE ORIENTATION

SENIORS!!!  If you have been accepted to HCC for Fall of 2004, a representative from HCC will be in the library on Thursday, May 13 at 8:30 a.m.  All seniors who have been accepted to HCC should come to GRAC for a pass to attend this orientation session.  - T. Kawada

There is no song practice this week, due to Saturday School scheduled for 5/12 after school.  Next song practice is on Wednesday, 5/19 for guys and girls, 2 pm sharp at the gym!  - J. Kruse

SATURDAY SCHOOL

The 4th of 5 Saturday Schools this semester will be held this Wednesday, 5/12, at WHS Cafeteria.  Check with each of your teachers for your actual absence dates.  Know the classes for which you need to earn Saturday School credits.  Must be in line by 2:00 p.m.-NO LATE ENTRY; have a valid ID; dress standards apply; bring work to do. - M. LIBRARY CLOSED FOR AP TESTING

The library will be closed for AP Testing from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday, March 3; Wednesday, March 5; Friday, March 7 and Tuesday, May 11.  Please do not send students to the library Pds 1 and 3 on these days.  We need to maintain quiet.  If you need materials for research on these days, please let me know so special arrangements can be made. - G. NATIONAL TEEN PREGNANCY PREVENTION MONTH

About 50% of the fathers marry the teen mothers of their first children. --- FALSE, about 20% of the fathers marry the teen mothers of their first children.  And, on average, the remaining 80% pay less than $800 annually for child support---that is less than $16 a week! - R. Yamanaka

PIHANA NA MAMO

The Pihana staff and 13 of the Pihana students will be on O'ahu this Thursday-Saturday.  If you have concerns about specific students attending trip (academics) please let us know ASAP.  They are circulating their permission forms now.  Their Parent meeting is this evening in the Library @ 6:00 p.m.  Also, P-18 will be closed until we return, mahalo. - D. RELEASE OF GIRL'S GOLF TO STATES
