GENERAL

STATE EMPLOYEES FOOD DRIVE

MAHALO to all those who donated food and monies to the State Employees Food Drive.  A total of 78 lbs of food were donated and $50.00 in monies collected.  All donations will go to the Hawaii Island Food Bank (East Hawaii). - F. Kaauamo

SCHOLARSHIPS:

Any senior who has been awarded a scholarship, please inform Whitney Nekoba, Mrs. Sakai-Kawada or Mrs. Tanabe.  Your name and award will be included in the Senior Award program booklet.   - D. Tanabe

SENIOR SERVICE RETREAT NEEDS 264 SENIORS

Seniors, the deadline for the submission of your $5.00 (Senior Service Retreat fee and paperwork) is on Wednesday, May 5th.  Turn your money and paperwork in at Q2O4.  If 264 seniors are not able to go on the Service Retreat, we will not go.  - S. Naungayan

MEMORIAL LEIS - SENIOR CLASS

SENIOR POWDER PUFF MEETING

All Senior Women who signed up for Senior Powder Puff Football during Senior Week:  You have a mandatory meeting with your coaches during First Recess, on Friday, May 7th, in D204.  You need to learn your plays and your positions.  Be there.  Coach David and Coach Troy - S. Naungayan

NHS MEMBERS

Please come to the registrar's office to vote for next year's officers.  Voting period is this week, Monday - Friday (5/3-5/7) - J. Nekoba

MAY PHYSICAL SCREENING

Date:           Wednesday, May 26th

Time:          3pm to 5:30pm

Where:       Hilo Civic

For:             All High School Student Athletes Participating in Athletics 2004 - 2005 Season

Cost:           $25.00 donation to benefit participating Athletic Training Departments

Requirements:

1)  Forms must be completed and signed prior to screening

2)  Immunization cards must be current and presented at time of screening

3) Intermediate students (14 years old and under) must be accompanied by a parent

ROAD TO FAME ON OC 16:

Waiakea's own, Dulce Lazo, will be competing in this Friday's Oceanic Road to Fame Competition on channel 16.  Voting will take place after the 7:30 pm telecast.  Go on-line (vote.oceanic.com) or vote using the digital tv remote, letter "c".   Let's support our own...vote Dulce Lazo, our Waiakea Idol!!! - D.
