DRIVER'S ED MORNING SESSION:

All students who requested the early morning driver's ed class next school year should see Mrs. Nekoba in the Registrar's office as soon as possible.  - J. Nekoba

SENIOR LUAU

Bids are being sold @ H-Counselors during lunch recess only. Consent forms may be picked up from

your English teacher, E104 or H-Counselors.  - N. Sumida

UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII AT MANOA

Seniors admitted to UH-Manoa for Fall 2004:  a representative from UH-Manoa will be in the library on Monday, April 19th at 8:30 a.m.  All seniors who were accepted to UH-Manoa should come to GRAC for a pass.

JUNIORS & SENIORS

A representative from Mesa State College will be in GRAC on Friday, April 16th at 12:45 p.m.  Mesa State College is a public 4 year community & liberal arts college in Grand Junction, Colorado.  Interested Juniors & Seniors should come to GRAC for a pass. - T. Kawada

JUNIORS LAST CHANCE TO TAKE COLLEGE BOARD SAT TESTS!   

The deadline for the June 4 SAT test is April 30.  If you plan on attending a 4-year college, sign up to take the June test if you have not taken the SAT yet.  Reminder, the Univeristy of California schools require the SATII test.  Any Junior who may be serious about applying for the military academy, see your counselor now! - M. CHEERLEADING TRY-OUTS

Anyone interested in trying out for the Waiakea High Cheerleading Team for the year 2004-2005, there will be a mandatory meeting on April 15, 2004 at Portable 21 on the Waiakea High campus.  It is the Portable at the top parking lot before the gym.  The meeting will be about the season ahead, cost and the actual try-outs.  Meeting will begin at 5:30pm.  Any questions, feel free to call Lody Switzer at 961-3045 in the evenings.  Thank you! - L. LEO CLUB MEMBERS

There will be a Leleiwi Beach clean-up on Tuesday, April 20 from 4:00-5:00PM.  Sign up in B102.  Also to everyone who signed up to bring Blood Drive Foods, drop off on Tuesday in the Library by 8:00AM.  - J. Hosaka

SENIORS

Cap & Gown distribution day is Thursday, April 15.  Please be prepared to show your student ID when you come to pick up your cap/gown/accessory order during lunch recess at the WHS library.  You are asked to line up outside of the library, as only 15-20 students will be allowed into the library at one time, to avoid congestion.  Obligations must be cleared for you to pick up your order.  You are not allowed to pick up an order for another student.  Refer to the morning bulletin on Friday, April 16, if you are unable to pick up your order on Thursday.  Thank you for your cooperation.   - J. CHEERLEADING TRYOUT MEETING

There will be a mandatory meeting for all students and their parents interested in trying out for the cheer squad for next year.  The meeting will be held in Portable 21 at 5:30pm on Thursday, April 15th.  Please be prompt since important information will be discussed. - K. Yamase

KALUA PLATE & HOLY BAKERY PIES

Tickets are available from Pihana Na Mamo club members or see Mrs. Kotaki in P-18.  Kalua Plate tickets are for May Day Ho'olaule'a on 5/3/04.  Pick-up for Holy Bakery pies will also be done during Ho'olaule'a in D-102 (Mrs. DeMello's room.)  You can purchase tickets up until Friday, April 30.  Mahalo for supporting the Pihana Na Mamo program. - D. SENIOR ENGLISH TEACHERS

Please assist us in completing the dissemination of 4th Quarter Suspension Notices to all seniors.  Some classes/students did not receive the written notice from Mr. Koga before spring break.  We will be attempting to complete class distributions this week.  If you receive a packet in your mailbox, please give notices & collect signatures from individual students who were absent from class when information was handed out.  Return signature sheets to Ms. Kruse.  Mahalo. - J.
