IOLANI SCHOOL SAT PREP SUMMER COURSE

Students interested in taking an excellent SAT Prep class at Iolani School this summer see Mrs. Akiona for information.  There is a $435 fee and student is responsible for own airfare and housing.  Serious students interested possibly ONE partial scholarship see Mrs. Akiona immediately. - M. RUNNING START PROGRAM FOR CURRENT SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS

SR. PROM

Sr. Prom pictures will be ready for pick up on Thursday, April 8th and Monday, April 12th during morning and lunch recess in H-105.  If you have any questions please see Ms. Kelly in H-105. - K. Kelly

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

BARNEY FUJIMOTO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP:  for any seniors planning to enroll at any of the University of Hawaii campuses.  Resume, essay, photo & transcript required.  Applications available in GRAC.  Value:  $1,000.  Deadline:  April 30th.

FRIENDS OF THE PANA'EWA ZOO:  for seniors who intend to pursue a degree in one of the life sciences (zoology, biology, botany, physical anthropology, etc.).  Transcript, personal essay, 1,000-1,500 word essay, two letters of recommendation required.  Applications available in GRAC.  Value:  $500.  Deadline:  April 30th.  - T. 'AHA 'ÖPIO O OHA SUMMER YOUTH LEGISLATURE

Any juniors of Hawaiian ancestry interested in writing laws and attending a one-week legislative session at the state capital from June 27-July 2, 2004, come to C 101 for an application.  Apps are due on Friday, April 16, 2004.  There is no cost for this once-in-a-lifetime experience and you will stay at the UH dorms. - P. HAWAII STATE ASSESSMENT

Testing is during Pd. 4 today.  Please send gr. 10 students to the cafeteria after taking attendance.  Teachers who do not have a class during pd. 4, your assistance in the cafeteria would be greatly appreciated. - T. Kawada

HEALTH PLAN OPEN ENROLLMENT

Open enrollment for Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF) is being held through the month of April.  All eligible employees seeking to enroll, change or cancel current enrollment in health benefit plans must do so during this time and will become effective July 1, 2004.  Please see any office staff to acknowledge receipt of your 2004 EUTF information form.  If the information reflected on your form is correct and you are satisfied with your current plans, no forms need to be submitted.  - J. Tickets are available from Pihana Na Mamo club members or see Mrs. Kotaki in P-18.  Kalua Plate tickets are for May Day Ho'olaule'a on 5/3/04.  Pick-up for Holy Bakery pies will also be done during Ho'olaule'a in D-102 (Mrs. DeMello's room.)  You can purchase tickets up until Friday, April 30.  Mahalo for supporting the Pihana Na Mamo program. - D.
